The Permanent Secretariat of the Alpine Convention organises from 4 to 12 July 2011 the fifth edition of SuperAlp! A group of journalists belonging to world’s top publications crosses the Alps for nine days using a combination of sustainable transportation means.
This year, the theme of this crossing on foot, by train, bike, bus and lifts is the state of the Alpine glaciers – echoing the Via Alpina crossing by Annie Kramer / Going Glacial. The journalists will follow Via Alpina around its highest point at the Similaun hut (Austrian-Italian border on the Yellow Trail).
