Spital am Pyhrn
Baroque former monastery church, also called the "Dom vom Pyhrn“ (Pyhrn cathedral). Provost Heinrich Fürsten undertook the construction of the church in 1714. 22 years later, the church was consecrated by Bishop Josef Dominikus Count of Lamberg from Passau. Bartolomeo Altomonte, who also created some of the fresco painting in the Admont monastery, painted the frescoes in the presbytery.

The community of Spital am Pyhrn borders on the Limestone Alps national park.
Worth mentioning are the Dr. Vogelsangklamm ridge, the water theme trail, the Gleinkersee lake and the "Brunnsteiner See – Hochmoor Teichlboden“ nature reserve in the Wurzeralm meadowland
