Thörl-Maglern
Thörl-Maglern is only three kilometres from the Italian border. It is possible to take the train to and from Arnoldstein and the bus as far as Thörl-Maglern. In addition to this, Arnoldstein boasts an interesting Gothic parish church and the ruins of a Benedictine monastery built in the 12th century. The Kreuzkapelle chapel erected in 1529 is an architecturally beautiful building with two superimposed chapels. The Arnoldstein stream flows past below the altar area.
