The Cristina hut is situated in the valley of Prabello. The position is idyllic with, behind it, the towering pyramid of Pizzo Scalino. The hut is base camp for the climb up to Pizzo Scalino (3323m) and other nearby peaks and an excellent location for skiing in winter and spring. The surroundings are quite remarkable, not least because the views include that of, the Disgrazia, Bernina and Scalino ranges direct and unobstructed. There are also opportunities for climbing (levels 5 to 7).
