  |   3h25   |   11.3 km   |   961 m   |   998 m

The trail leaves aside the greenery of Val di Fassa and enters the heart of the Dolomites, dotted with needle-like peaks and affording breathtaking views. Once over the Principe and Molignon passes, the trail continues north, passing through a section kitted out with guide ropes, to the Tires pass, near the Denti di Terrarossa peaks. The stage ends at the Bolzano hut, on the Sciliar plateau.

Superbe!

Very nice step as this one! Psychologically, it marks the end of the "Dolomites" part of Via Alpina. We must take advantage of it. The very rocky atmosphere of the Antermoia hut lasts until the Molignon pass, passing by the impressive Prinzipe hut, surrounded by rocky spurs. Watch out for steep and slightly unstable supports and trails. The descent to the Alpes de Tires refuge is simple and allows you to say goodbye to the Dolomites mountains smoothly. We now enter in more rounded reliefs and collineans. The Bolzano hut takes place on a plateau, where the parallel with the Larzac plateaus could be made. Superb!

Lots of rifugio in the area, less than 1h30 in between each of them.
Allowed to pitch tent by helipad at rifugio Alpe di tires.
The area is not difficult, ok lots of stone/rocks that can be slippery/unstable if wet...that's it
