Just below the Capanna d'Efra hut lies Lake Efra. From there, cross the Efra Alp heading northward. Then take a short but steep descent. On reaching the outlet from Lake Efra, head gradually down the valley to Frasco and on to the village of Sonogno in the Verzascatal valley, the stage destination.

Val Verszaca Val Verzasca valley is one of the best known valleys in Tessino.
