From Biasca, Personico can be reached via Pasquerino. A short, steep climb leads past the Bacino Val d'Ambra conservation reservoir. Walk along the left side of the valley through woodland to reach Cassinone. From here, follow the river in the Ambra valley to Bedra, where the steep climb to the Gagnone pass begins. After a short descent, you will reach the Capanna d'Efra hut.
This stage leads through the glorious Ambra valley. From Biasca, Personico can be reached in an hour via Pasqueiro, although for this part of the route, public transport can also be used as far as the artificial lake. The climb to Cassinone can be made on either the left or the right shore of the little lake. After one and a half hours of walking through chestnut and brich woodland, you will reach Cassinone. This first climb is much influenced by the surrounding water and its splendid, shimmering blue-green colour, as is typical of the Verzascatal valley. Arrivée à Biasca depuis Bellinzona par train.
Marche d'approche longue et sur route jusqu'au début de la montée. Celle-ci est très agréable, régulière et en sous-bois... jusqu'aux 800m derniers mètres de dénivelée. ces derniers se font sur une pente 30%, à travers les rhododendrons: dur, dur!
Arrivée appréciée au refuge non gardé Capanna d'Efra; environnement minéral.

La Capanna Efra n'est pas gardiennée mais on peut réserver sur internet : www.verzasca.net. L'intendante de la Capanna Efra a changé : Maria Matasci 079 256 56 69 / 091 745 22 36 (ce n'est plus M. In Bodio gibt es im Restaurant an der Kreuzung ein kleines Einmannzimmer für 45,- CHF mit Frühstück. Wer Zelt mit hat kann auf dem Weg nach Cassinone sicherlich ein Plätzchen finden. Es gibt hier auch zwei Refugios in der Nähe der Steinbrücke, die jedoch nicht unbedingt zugänglich sind. Im Gemeindehaus von Personico vorher besser fragen. Im Ambra Tal lieber den rechten Weg nehmen.
