Ronco Canavese » Talosio
This is a very long stage involving significant changes in altitude. The trail is not always easily visible, especially at high altitude where, to find one’s way, good visibility is essential. From Tallorno the Bocchetta dei Burè and Colle del Prà passes lead to Ronco Canavese.

Detailed route description
From the hamlet of Tallorno take the bridleway up the steep valley towards the Bocchetta dei Burè pass. The trail circles Lake Liamau to reach Alpe Prà, and then all but disappears. Follow the stone markers carefully towards the Prà pass as they only stand out in good visibility. With some difficulty, the pass, at 2647metres, is reached. The situation is no better on the other side - only some red signs highlight the trail. Further down the trail is entirely overgrown. When the visibility is good, the abandoned hamlets of Fontana and Servino below can be seen: that is the direction to follow. From Servino a bridleway leads down to Scandosio and then, quickly along the road, to Ronco Canavese. Given the difficulty in finding overnight accommodation in Tallorno and the length of the stage, it is advisable to avoid stages D24 and D25, cutting across directly from Piamprato to Ronco Canavese along the GTA trail.
