Watschiger Alm pastureland, ascent of the 2,195 metre-high Garnterkofel, which can be reached using the normal uphill track in 45min. The summit is decorated with a large iron cross. It is surrounded by the Carnic Alps and, owing to the proximity of Italy, the climate is already a Mediterranean one. The Plattner farmstead is belongs to the hiking hotels of Europe network and offers guided hikes and mountain tours, childcare, a sauna and a fitness room.
