The alpine refuge is the starting point of numerous excursions: dè Piazzi Peak (3439m) Pizzo Dosdè (3280m); Lake Spalmo Peaks (3291); Viola Peak (3374m); Pizzo Campaccio (3141m) Sasso Maurigno (3062m); Redasco Peaks (3139m). From the refuge one can see the Verva Pass (2301m) dominated on the left by the Pizzo Dosdè. The Grosina Valley ends here: on the opposite slope a path descends to Semogo in Valdidentro.
