Via Alpina’s tourist offer

Via Alpina is not just an international network of hiking routes. It’s also an opportunity to link together in a network a wide range of tourist products, directly managed by local operators and marketed by specialized operators, able to satisfy every hiker’s needs.

In the three categories of products, divided into geographical areas, you can find hundreds of “all inclusive” packets or single services able to transform a trek along Via Alpina into an unforgettable experience!

Discovering Via Alpina shows some ways to invite hikers to find out the various aspects of the Alps (environment, history, culture and traditions).

Pilot projects, which the project partners have developed in cooperation with various local organisations, propose different ways to interpret the alpine universe.

Forts and castles along Via Alpina, on the other hand, suggests how to get to know and visit some of the many fortresses in proximity of the routes on the Italian part of Via Alpina, with trails dedicated to history and events which have animated the alpine arc, sometimes in dramatic ways.

On the apposite section Events, on the other hand, you can find a rich and updated calendar of the events that share the spirit of Via Alpina on the way to discover cultural identities in respect of Nature (fairs and festivals, traditional fiestas, exhibitions and cultural enterprises, shows and concerts, didactic and environmental enterprises, sport competitions, etc.)
